Ingredient:
- Fish, 250 gms(any variety of fish)
- Turmeric, 1 tsp
- Red chili powder, 1 tsp
- Mustard seed, 1/2 tsp
- Cumin seed, 1/2 tsp
- Green chili, 2nos
- Fistful of cilantro/dhaniya
- Oil, 3-4 tbsp
- Salt to taste
For Masala:
- Garlic clove, 8-10 nos
- Tomato(chopped), 2nos(medium)
- Cumin seed, 1/2 tsp
- Red chili, 2 nos
Method :
- First marinate the fish with turmeric and salt.
- Make a paste of garlic,tomato,red chili and cumin seed using blender(don't use water) .
- Heat the tawa ,add little oil and fry the fish both side till golden brown and keep aside.
- In another pan add oil,when oil become hot add mustard seeds and cumin seeds.
- Then add little bit of turmeric and chili powder ,then add prepared paste.
- Then add green chili and salt to taste and cook for 5 minutes.
- Then add cilantro/dhaniya and fried fish and cook on high flame till the masala become dry.
- Fish masala is ready to serve with rice or roti.
